About the Project
Ixtul QH needed a comprehensive system to manage their catalog of horses, foals, and embryos, along with pedigree and genetic information for each specimen.
The goal was to digitize internal management and create an online showcase that reflected the quality of their work and legacy in the equine breeding world.
A complete platform was designed with a modern, adaptable, and user-friendly interface, connecting the ranch's tradition with current web technology.
The Challenge
Implement a robust data structure that would allow relating horses, foals, and genealogies without compromising system performance.
Additionally, an attractive visual experience was required, with an intuitive admin panel and public views optimized for different devices.
The Solution
We developed a complete CMS using Laravel, MySQL, and Bootstrap, with authentication, user management, and full content control.
Custom modules were integrated to manage genealogies, galleries, breeding statistics, and detailed records per specimen.
The UX/UI design focused on ease of navigation and clear data presentation, using a sober and professional color scheme.
Laravel was chosen over a generic CMS because the core challenge was relational: horses, foals, and genealogies with multiple cross-references that a visual site builder doesn't model well. A framework with its own ORM made it possible to represent those relationships without compromising catalog performance.
